DNC aftereffects.

An interesting editorial in the Globe today weighing the good and bad of the DNC. Feelings seem mixed, but, from everyone I’ve spoken to who was here last week, spirits are pretty high and attitudes pretty favorable to how it all went. I think the paper is right to remind us of the value of the convention in the sense of morale, pride, and all that mushy stuff. It ain’t easy to quantify like a budget, but we all know how good it feels to be able to show off your home to a bunch of interested people. This should be worth something.
At any rate, it was nice to hear a bit of summary thoughts on the good and the bad, since I was somewhere between Montana and Massachusetts at the time.
