Good Friday; better Saturday.

So I’m home in dear old Smalbs for the weekend (thanks to a lift yesterday from Matt and Tina on their way to Syracuse), recovering from my cold, enjoying my new short hair, celebrating Easter with the extended fam, and trying to decide on a graduate school, all while (apparently!) missing Sherv’s visit to Beantown. May’s in town too, it seems — why does everyone pick the weekend I’m home to show up in the Hub?
This afternoon, it’s scalloped-potato-making with mom, the inevitable bottomless cup of tea, some Ulysses, maybe some reading for class, maybe a walk. The weather’s lovely, the snow is melting, and I’m steadily feeling better.
