Reverse the (other) curse.

So what do you folks think? Are the Cubs my new NL team?

  1. Aren’t you closer to Milwaukee?
On the other hand, I’d be up for making a road trip to Chicago this fall in order to see a game at Wrigley…

  2. Back of the envelope indicates Madison is 1.5 hrs from the Brew Crue and 2.75 hrs from Wrigley.
If we assume a (very modest) Cubs/Brewers relative awesomeness factor of 2, then it’s clear that she’s gotta be a cubbies fan. And I think we all know the Cubs are way more than twice as awesome as the Brewers.

  3. It’s easy to be a Cubs fan if you are a Red Sox fan. I mean look at the similarities:
    1) an old curse
    2) really old but very fun ball park
    3) fans *all* over the nation
    4) fans willing to travel all over the nation to see a game
    5) Nomar (when he’s healthy)
I could go on and on 🙂 It’s amazing to see how well Red Sox fans and Cubs fans are getting along during the series this weekend!
Anyway, welcome to the midwest! I’m sure you’ll make a wise baseball choice 🙂
