# \begin{thenewhotness}

For those of you who, like me, have been searching for that great piece of LaTeX code to make your bibliography beautiful — hanging indents, no numbers, “References” printed in something not huge and annoying — look no further:

        \renewenvironment{thebibliography}[1]
{\section*{\centering\normalfont\small\MakeUppercase{#1}}\small
\begin{list}{}{\setlength{\leftmargin}{\bibindent}
\setlength{\itemindent}{-\leftmargin}
\setlength{\itemsep}{0pt}
\setlength{\parsep}{\smallskipamount}
\usecounter{enumiv}\renewcommand{\theenumiv}{}}
\sloppy\clubpenalty=4000\widowpenalty=4000\frenchspacing}
{\end{list}}
\begin{thebibliography}{References}
\bibitem{MeRo88}
\textsc{Meng, J.~C.~S. \& Rottman, J.~W.} 1988
Linear internal waves generated by density and velocity perturbations
in a linearly stratified fluid.
\textit{J. Fluid Mech.} \textsf{\textbf{186}}, 419--444.
\end{thebibliography}

Compile that and swoon!

Okay, this is probably a sign that it’s time for Am to go to bed.

[Man, I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to implement a “nerding” category. I must have been miscategorizing stuff until now!]
