A little bit of the MBTA on the Madison Metro.

On the bus ride home from one of the most affecting and depressing colloquia I’ve attended (an hour and a half about David Vetter, the boy in the bubble), for some reason the bus driver was calling out the stops over the intercom — in that comprehensible-only-if-you-already-know-the-stops way that T conductors have down to an art — despite the fact that the automated voice was announcing them as usual. It was kind of uplifting in the crowded bus, and it made people smile — and I swear he said “Park Street” with just a little bit of a Boston accent… But maybe it was just the static.
