Fallback.

Last night over rhubarb pie a friend noted that, if the history thing doesn’t work out, I could always open a pie shop instead. Having cooked and baked more lately than I have in a while, I have to say that it is a pretty appealing option. Maybe I could fold that into my fantasy plan to start a diner…

  2. Aren’t we out of baking season?
    This entry reminds me of that freshly-picked raspberry pie you made on Peaks. That was the bee’s knees.
